Biography
Juel Taylor is an American screenwriter and film director. He was born on 1 May 1987 in Tuskegee, Alabama, and studied at the University of Florida before earning an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Taylor co-wrote the screenplay for Creed II (2018) with Sylvester Stallone. With writing partner Tony Rettenmaier he also co-wrote Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021) and the screenplay for They Cloned Tyrone (2023), which marked his feature directorial debut. He wrote the screenplay for Shooting Stars (2023).
