Biography
Jules Asner is an American screenwriter, author, former entertainment journalist, television personality and model. Born Julie Ann White on 14 February 1968 in Tempe, Arizona, she began her career as a model after being discovered at a convention in Scottsdale at age 16.
She hosted programmes on E! including Revealed with Jules Asner and E! News Live, and published the novel Whacked in 2008. Asner wrote the screenplay for Logan Lucky (2017) under the pseudonym Rebecca Blunt; she had previously contributed uncredited rewrites to films including Magic Mike (2012). She appeared as herself in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001).
Asner has been married to director Steven Soderbergh since 2003. She was previously married to Matthew Asner from 1992 to 1996.
