Biography
Juli Weiner is an American screenwriter and television writer. She is known for her work on the HBO series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, where she served as a writer from 2014 to 2019.
Weiner graduated from Barnard College in 2010. She has written for the FX series The Franchise (2024), Love Story (2026) and The Shards (2026), on which she is also credited as co-executive producer. She won five Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series between 2016 and 2020.
