Biography
Julia Fabry is a French photographer, video artist and artistic director. She graduated in cinema and visual arts and began collaborating with filmmaker Agnès Varda in 2007.
She worked as assistant director and cinematographer on Varda’s The Beaches of Agnès (2008) and Faces Places (2017), and continued as Varda’s closest collaborator until the latter’s death in 2019. Fabry has since curated exhibitions of Varda’s work.
