Biography
Julia Lindig is a German actress. She was born on 15 May 1954 in Duisburg and is the daughter of ballet mistress Ola Lindig.
After leaving school in 1970 she toured Europe and the Middle East with the pantomime ensemble Kefka. She later trained at drama school and appeared on stage in Cologne, Berlin and elsewhere, including at the Volksbühne and Schillertheater. Her screen career includes supporting roles in films such as Der Atem (1989), Lebewohl, Fremde (1991) and Run Lola Run (1998), in which she played Doris, as well as guest appearances in series including Tatort and Polizeiruf 110.
She has also worked as a theatre activist and is the owner of the actors' database actorscut.com and the web design company Webdesign Berlin.
