Biography
Julia Prescott is a writer and director from North Hollywood, California. She wrote the The Simpsons episode "Treehouse of Horror XXXI" (2020), which Variety named among the top 30 episodes of the series' run.
She has written for several animated series, including The Snoopy Show (2021), Rock, Paper, Scissors (2024) and My Little Pony: Make Your Mark (2022). Prescott is an Annie Award nominee and co-author of the 2018 book 100 Things The Simpsons Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die.
She graduated from Chapman University and has taught there as well as at the New York Film Academy. In 2024 she was selected for the Rideback RISE fellowship and in 2026 for the WIF Fellowship.
