Biography
Julia Ruchman is an American television writer and producer. She began her career writing episodes for series including The Troop (2009–2010) and Covert Affairs (2011–2013).
She wrote one episode of American Odyssey (2015) and five episodes of The Son (2017–2019). On The Walking Dead (2010), she contributed six episodes as writer between 2019 and 2022, and served as co-executive producer across 46 episodes in seasons 10 and 11.
In 2024, she was attached as writer and executive producer on a Universal Television adaptation of Jana Monroe’s memoir Hearts of Darkness, alongside Susanna Fogel.
