Biography
Julia Schklair is an American costume designer. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she studied fine arts at the Art Institute of Chicago before moving to California in the 1980s. There she pursued further studies and began working in costume design for film and television.
Her credits include costume design on the films Candyman (1992), Happy, Texas (1999), Hellraiser: Inferno (2000) and Mimic 2 (2001), as well as the series The Mentalist (2008) and The Rookie (2018). She has also worked as a wardrobe supervisor and set costumer on earlier productions.
Schklair has received six wins and two nominations for her work.
