Biography
Julia Tobin is an English actress best known for playing Brenda Hope in the comedy-drama series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983–2004). She is the only actress to appear in every series of the show.
Born in 1955 in Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne, she has appeared in other television roles including episodes of Spender (1992) and The Bill (2005). She also featured in the Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark music video for "Maid of Orleans (The Waltz Joan of Arc)" (1981).
Tobin has reprised her role for the show's 40th anniversary event in Newcastle in 2024 and is a regular performer at the North East charity concert Sunday for Sammy.
