Biography
Julian Bond (1930–2012) was a British television and film writer. He contributed scripts to numerous series, including an episode of Upstairs, Downstairs (1971), several episodes of The Saint (from 1962), and dramatizations for Tales of the Unexpected (1980–1981).
His screenwriting credits include the films The Shooting Party (1985) and The Whistle Blower (1986). He also created the series A Man of Our Times (1967) and wrote for The Far Pavilions (1984) and Strangers and Brothers (1984). Bond received a BAFTA nomination for adapted screenplay.
