Biography
Julian Breece is an American writer and director whose credits include work in film and television. He received story and teleplay credits on the Netflix miniseries When They See Us (2019). He also wrote the story and co-wrote the screenplay for the 2023 biographical film Rustin.
Breece is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Southern California's Peter Stark Producing Program. His short film The Young & Evil (2008) was selected for the Sundance Film Festival, and he was a Nicholl Fellowship finalist for his screenplay Ball. He has contributed to series including The First (2018) and Harlem (2021).
