Biography
Julianne Christie is a Canadian-based American actress. Born on 9 April 1966 in Washington state, she trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and adopted her professional name to distinguish herself from the British actress Julie Christie.
She began her screen career in the early 1990s with roles in films including Encino Man (1992) and The Nutty Professor (1996). Christie has appeared in numerous television series, notably as Dexa in Star Trek: Voyager (2001), Ah'Len in Star Trek: Enterprise (2001), Nancy Keary in Grimm (2013), Gayle Sherman in Lucifer (2016), Warden Del Toro in The Flash (2018), and Karen Cross in The Good Doctor (2020). She has also worked as a producer, director and writer on short films, and teaches drama while performing on stage.
