Biography
Julie Carlsen is a Danish actress. She trained at the acting school attached to Aarhus Theatre, graduating in 1991, and was subsequently engaged at Aarhus Theatre and the Royal Danish Theatre before becoming freelance in 1996.
She is known for her recurring role as Barbara in the series The Bridge (2011–2018). Other television credits include Gitta Spalding in The Killing (2009), Vibeke Randrup in DNA (2019), and Lisbeth in Darkness: Those Who Kill (2019). Film roles include Helene in Speed Walking (2014).
