Biography
Julie Cullen is a Scottish actress. She grew up in Glasgow and began performing in musical theatre at the age of seven. Her first professional role was in pantomime, after which she trained at the Gamta drama school in Glasgow, supported by a scholarship from mentor Sharon Graham. She later moved to London.
Cullen has appeared in the Netflix film The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star (2021) as a member of Hunter’s staff and in series two of the BBC drama Traces (2022) as Holly. She is also credited in the podcast series The Great Goose Migration (2025).
She plays Young Joanna in the BBC and HBO series Half Man (2026), written by and starring Richard Gadd.
