Biography
Julie Kirkwood is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer whose credits include work in independent films and television, particularly in the horror and thriller genres.
She trained at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and began her career after working in still photography. Kirkwood has served as director of photography on films including Journey from the Fall (2007), Hello I Must Be Going (2012), The Blackcoat's Daughter (2015), I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016), The Monster (2016) and Destroyer (2018).
Her television work includes the pilot of Yellowjackets (2021), episodes of Limetown (2019) and Archive 81 (2022), and further episodes of The Terror.
