Biography
Julie R. Ølgaard is a Danish actress and director. She trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles from 2000, returning to Denmark after three years. She had a brief period as a radio host at Danmarks Radio before her film breakthrough in the 2003 thriller Midsommer.
She is known for her role as Nanna Birk Larsen in the television series The Killing (2007), Lotte in the film Headhunters (2011), and appearances in After the Wedding (2006) and Dig og mig (2008). She has also directed and starred in The Angel Maker (2023).
