Biography
Julie Thacker Scully is an American television writer and producer. She wrote three episodes of The Simpsons between 1999 and 2001: "The Old Man and the 'C' Student", "Last Tap Dance in Springfield" and "I'm Goin' to Praiseland".
With her husband, writer and producer Mike Scully, she co-created the series The Pitts (2003) and Complete Savages (2004–2005), and co-created Duncanville (2020–2022). She has also written for Fuller House (2016) and Shifting Gears (2025), and served as a producer on several of these programmes. She has received Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on The Simpsons.
