Biography
June Marie Bennett was an Australian actress. She played the role of Shirley in the 1994 film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
Based in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Bennett had prior experience as an extra in three films and performed in local theatre, including a starring role in Hello, Dolly! for the Broken Hill Repertory Society. Her Priscilla scene was filmed at the Palace Hotel in Broken Hill.
Bennett died on 21 November 2024 in Broken Hill.
