Biography
Justin Hurtt-Dunkley is an American actor and producer born in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Newark High School in Delaware and studied marketing at Morgan State University before earning a bachelor's degree in marketing from Long Island University Brooklyn in 2015. He began acting during high school with student films and background work, and secured his first speaking television role in the HBO series How to Make It in America (2010).
Since turning professional full time in 2015, Hurtt-Dunkley has appeared in High Flying Bird (2019) as Jamero Umber, Blindspot (2015–2020) as Madeline's Butler, The Last O.G. (2018) as Young Big Daddy Kane, Mare of Easttown (2021) as Officer Trammel, Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023) as Deputy US Marshal Ike Rogers, Ghosts (2021) as Walter, and Running Point (2025) as Victor Coburn Jr. He has also worked as a producer on several short films and series, and won Best Supporting Actor at the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival in 2017 for Damn Bro!.
