Biography
Justin Tanner is an American playwright, theatre director and screenwriter. He began writing and directing plays in Los Angeles in the late 1980s, becoming resident playwright at the Cast Theater, where productions included Zombie Attack (co-written with Andy Daley) and Pot Mom (which won a Pen West Award).
Tanner has written and directed numerous other stage works, among them Teen Girl, Bitter Women, Wife Swappers, Oklahomo and Space Therapy. His television writing credits include an episode of My So-Called Life (1994) and an episode of Gilmore Girls (2002); he also contributed to the series Love Monkey (2006) and created the web series Ave 43 (2009–2018).
