Biography
K. C. Martel is a Canadian former child actor. Born Kevin Christopher Martel on 14 September 1967 in Ottawa, Ontario, he appeared in American film and television from 1977 to 1992.
His film roles include Greg in The Amityville Horror (1979), Timmy Russel in Bloody Birthday (1981), Greg in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) and George in White Water Summer (1987). On television he had a recurring role as Eddie on Growing Pains (1985–1992) and appeared in series including Mulligan's Stew, Eight is Enough and The Best Times.
Martel retired from acting after Growing Pains ended in 1992. He later earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in marriage, family and children's therapy, and works in wealth management.
