Biography
K. T. Stevens was an American actress. Born Gloria Wood on 20 July 1919 in Hollywood, California, she was the daughter of film director Sam Wood. She made her screen debut as a child in her father's 1921 silent film Peck's Bad Boy. As an adult she adopted the name K. T. Stevens, having first used Katherine Stevens.
Stevens appeared in films including Kitty Foyle (1940), in which she played Molly, The Great Man's Lady (1942), Address Unknown (1944), Port of New York (1949), Harriet Craig (1950), Vice Squad (1953) and Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969). Her final film role was in Corrina, Corrina (1994). She also worked extensively in television, with guest roles in series such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Perry Mason, The Big Valley and Little House on the Prairie, and recurring parts in daytime soaps including General Hospital, Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.
She was married to actor Hugh Marlowe from 1946 until their divorce in 1968; they had two sons. Stevens died on 13 June 1994 in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
