Biography
Kagiso Lediga is a South African actor, comedian, filmmaker and writer. Born on 6 May 1978 in Pretoria, he studied English and drama at the University of Cape Town, where he began performing stand-up comedy.
He created and produced the sketch series The Pure Monate Show (2003) and has written and directed other television comedies. His film roles include Kumi in Mary and Martha (2013) and Max in Catching Feelings (2017), which he also directed and co-produced. He voiced Young Rafiki in Mufasa: The Lion King (2024).
Lediga created the Netflix series Queen Sono (2020), on which he served as executive producer and writer.
