Biography
Kaki King is an American guitarist and composer. Born Katherine Elizabeth King on 24 August 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia, she began her career performing instrumental music and released her debut album Everybody Loves You in 2003.
King contributed original music to the soundtrack of Into the Wild (2007), working alongside Eddie Vedder and Michael Brook; the score received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score. She has composed for other films including August Rush (2007) and released several further albums, and is married to Jessica Templin.
