Biography
Kang Ae-sim (also credited as Kang Ae-shim) is a South Korean actress. She was born on 28 February 1963.
She began her career in theatre in 1981 with the play The Next and has worked without an agency. Her screen credits include supporting roles in films such as Kim Ji-young: Born 1982 (2019) and Concrete Utopia (2023), and television series including Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) as Choi Yeong-ran and Bad and Crazy (2021) as Seo Seung-sook. She is known for portraying Jang Geum-ja (Player 149) in the second and third seasons of the Netflix series Squid Game (2024–2025).
