Biography
Kanjirô Sakura is a Japanese film producer and occasional writer. Born in 1956 in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, he has worked extensively with Cross Media, Inc., Japan.
He is credited as producer on Christopher Nolan's Inception (2010) and on several Japanese productions directed by Kôki Mitani, including Welcome Back, Mr. McDonald (1997), All About Our House (2001) and Suite Dreams (2006). Other credits include Wasabi (2001), The Glory of Team Batista (2008) and The Triumphant Return of General Rouge (2009). He has also served as executive producer on the television series Pachinko (2022).
Sakura is president of Crossmedia Inc.
