Biography
Kapil Talwalkar is an Indian-American actor and musician. Born in Pune, India, on 8 March 1993, he grew up in the Bay Area of California and studied acting at the USC School of Dramatic Arts.
He made his professional stage debut in East West Players’ production of Animals Out of Paper. Talwalkar is best known for playing Tobin Batra in the NBC series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (2020–2021) and the film Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas (2021), and Neil Valluri in the NBC revival of Night Court (2023). His other television credits include recurring roles in Charmed (as Dev) and Station 19 (as Sanjay), voice work on The Loud House, and appearances in Home Economics and The ’Burbs (as Naveen Varma).
He has also appeared in films including Americanish and Paper Flowers, and on stage in productions such as Twelfth Night at the Public Theater. Talwalkar is the grandson of Marathi actor Sharad Talwalkar.
