Biography
Karen Kuioka Hironaga is an American actress and producer. She is known for her role as Barb Higgins in the film The Descendants (2011).
Based in Hawaii, Hironaga has appeared in numerous local theatre productions, including at Kumu Kahua Theatre and a run of The Joy Luck Club at Diamond Head Theatre. Her performance in the latter led to her casting in The Descendants. She has also acted in Parts of the Same Circle (2012) and produced Obake Neko (2023).
