Biography
Karen McCullah is an American screenwriter and novelist. She graduated from James Madison University in 1988 with a degree in marketing and worked in various jobs before beginning to write screenplays.
She frequently collaborates with writer Kirsten Smith. Their credits include 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), Legally Blonde (2001), Ella Enchanted (2004), She's the Man (2006), The House Bunny (2008) and The Ugly Truth (2009). McCullah has also written the novel The Bachelorette Party (2006) and is a faculty member at Syracuse University's Los Angeles Semester.
