Biography
Karen Robson is an Australian entertainment lawyer, producer and former actress. She is best known for her role as Irma Leopold in Peter Weir's 1975 film Picnic at Hanging Rock.
Born in Malacca, Malaysia, Robson made her acting debut in that film. Her only other screen credit was as a receptionist in the 2003 film Paris, which she also helped produce. She later qualified as a lawyer at the University of Sydney and became a partner at the Los Angeles firm Pryor Cashman, where she specialises in film finance. She has worked as a producer on films including Affliction and Cliffhanger.
