Biography
Karen Russell is an American actress and dancer, also credited as Dusty Woods. Born on 12 April 1962 in Erie, Pennsylvania, she began her career in the mid-1980s with roles in low-budget films.
She appeared as a dancer in Dick Tracy (1990), Havana (1990), Mobsters (1991) and Bugsy (1991). Other credits include Phoenix the Warrior (1988, as Dusty Woods), Vice Academy (1989), Murder Weapon (1989), Easy Wheels (1989), The Banker (1989), Shock 'Em Dead (1990) and Murder Blues (1991). She also had a small role in the television series Dream On (1996).
Russell retired from acting in the mid-1990s and became a yoga teacher. She founded Yoga Groove, later known as Yoga NoHo Center, in North Hollywood, California.
