Biography
Karene Peter is an English actress. She began acting after a friend encouraged her to join an acting class while she was working in retail, and she made early television appearances in episodes of Holby City and Doctors in 2013.
Peter played the recurring role of Serena in the CBBC series The Sparticle Mystery (2013–2015). She appeared in the film Mindhorn (2016) and guest-starred in Unforgotten (2017). In 2021 she had a recurring role as Pupil Midwife Georgette Baines in Call the Midwife.
From 2022 to 2023 she was a regular cast member as Naomi Walters in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. She played Gia in the 2023 film Rye Lane.
