Biography
Karl Zwicky is an Australian director, producer and screenwriter. A graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in cinematography, he began directing in the 1980s.
His feature credits include the horror film Contagion (1987) and the family film Paws (1997), which starred Billy Connolly. He co-directed the animated feature The Magic Pudding (2000). On television he has directed episodes of Farscape (2003), McLeod's Daughters (2001–2009), The Lost World (2002), BeastMaster (2001), Heartbreak High (1995) and many others, including long runs on Home and Away. He also created the children's series The Miraculous Mellops (1991) and has worked extensively as a producer on series such as McLeod's Daughters, Crownies and Janet King.
