Biography
Kat Candler (born 11 November 1974) is an American director, writer and producer. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, graduated from Florida State University and began her filmmaking career in Austin, Texas.
Candler wrote and directed the feature film Hellion (2014). Her television directing credits include episodes of Queen Sugar (for which she also served as showrunner on season three), 13 Reasons Why, Home Before Dark, Echoes and Dirty John. She directed two episodes of the 2026 Netflix series Little House on the Prairie.
