Biography
Kata Wéber is a Hungarian screenwriter, playwright and former actress. She trained at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest and began her career in theatre before moving into playwriting and screenwriting. She frequently collaborates with her husband, director Kornél Mundruczó.
Wéber wrote the screenplays for White God (2014), Jupiter's Moon (2017) and Pieces of a Woman (2020). She also served as a producer on the series The Crowded Room (2023). Her work includes the screenplay for Evolution (2021).
