Biography
Katarina Witt is a German actress and former figure skater. Born on 3 December 1965, she won Olympic gold medals in ladies' singles in 1984 and 1988, along with four World Championship titles.
After retiring from competitive skating, Witt appeared in films and television. Her credits include playing herself in Jerry Maguire (1996), the role of Natacha Kirilova in Ronin (1998), and a voice part in an episode of Frasier (1996). She starred as Carmen in the television film Carmen on Ice (1990), for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award. Other television appearances include episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond (1997) and V.I.P. (2000). She made her stage debut in 2009.
