Biography
Kate Arend is a television producer. She has worked at Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions since at least 2013, rising to Head of Production in 2017 and later serving as co-head of film and television alongside Kim Lessing.
Arend received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series as producer on the first season of Russian Doll (2019). She has also served as executive producer on Making It (2018–2021), Baking It (2021–2022) and The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning (2023), and as producer on First Time Female Director (2023).
She co-hosts the podcast Million Dollar Advice with Kim Lessing.
