Biography
Kate Forbes is a London-based costume designer and stylist working in film, television and commercials. She has more than thirty years of experience, having begun at a costume house and later apprenticed to costumier Roger K. Burton.
Her feature credits as costume designer include The Brutalist (2024), Fair Play (2023), Killers Anonymous (2019), Postcards from London (2018) and Unmade Beds (2009). She has also designed for the series Master of None and short films including The Fall (2019) and The Bird Game (2019). Forbes sources period and contemporary garments from costume houses and vintage suppliers, favouring authentic, lived-in pieces over new construction where possible.
