Biography
Kate Maberly is an English actress, musician, director, writer and producer. Born on 14 March 1982 in Reigate, Surrey, she is one of five children; her older sister Polly Maberly is also an actress.
She studied at Trinity College of Music in London, graduating in 2004 with a joint honours degree in piano and cello performance. Maberly began acting as a child and made her feature film debut as Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (1993).
She played Wendy in Finding Neverland (2004) and appeared in The Langoliers (1995), Gulliver's Travels (1996) and several BBC period dramas including Anglo-Saxon Attitudes (1992) and Daniel Deronda (2002). She has also performed on stage, including as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and has written, directed and produced short films.
