Biography
Kate Powers is a television writer. She began her career in script and writers' rooms as a writers' assistant and script coordinator on series including Breaking Bad (2009–2011), Mad Men (2007), The Good Wife (2013) and Pan Am (2011–2012).
Powers worked on Rectify (2013–2016) first as writers' assistant and script coordinator, later as staff writer, co-writing episodes with showrunner Ray McKinnon. She served as staff writer on Absentia (2017). She is a 2007 graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
