Biography
Kate Robin is an American playwright, television writer and producer. She joined the writing staff of the HBO series Six Feet Under in 2001 as its first female writer, contributing eight episodes and advancing through roles including story editor, executive story editor, producer and supervising producer.
Robin received the Princess Grace Award for playwriting in 2003 and is an alumna of New Dramatists. She later served as co-executive producer and writer on The Affair (2014) and as showrunner and executive producer on One Mississippi (2016). She has also written for Dead to Me (2019) and is married to writer Bruce Eric Kaplan.
