Biography
Kate Sumpter is an actor. She was born on 9 October 1987 in Orange, California, to British parents. She performed in theatre in the United States and was a member of the ensemble company The Satori Group before moving to the United Kingdom to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
Sumpter played Rose in the 2018 BBC miniseries The Little Drummer Girl. Her other credits include the role of Channel 6 Anchor in the 2025 film The Amateur and appearances in short films such as Before Seven (2022) and Spit It Out (2025).
