Biography
Katharina Schüttler is a German film and television actress. She was born on 20 October 1979 in Cologne and grew up there. Her father is an actor and director, and her mother is a playwright. After secondary school she studied acting at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from 1999 to 2003. Her screen debut came in the 1992 film Die Lok.
She is known for her roles in Generation War (2013) as Greta Müller, The Promise (2011) as Clara Rosenbaum, Free Fall (2013), Alone in Berlin (2016) and Heidi (2015). In 2018 she appeared as Helga Stern in the BBC series The Little Drummer Girl.
