Biography
Katherine Collins is a Canadian screenwriter and producer. She holds a BFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia and an MFA in screenwriting from York University, and she completed the Canadian Film Centre Writers Lab in 2006.
Her television credits include writing for Motive (2013–2014), for which she won a Leo Award, Blindspot (2015–2016) as staff writer, Lost in Space (2018–2021) as writer and producer, and The Handmaid's Tale (2017–) as writer and producer. She wrote the feature film Riot Girls (2019), which received a Writers Guild of America nomination for best original screenplay.
Collins lives in Los Angeles with her wife and their two children.
