Biography
Kathleen McDermott is a Scottish actress. She was working as a hairdresser when cast in her first film role as Lanna Phimister in Morvern Callar (2002).
She is also known for playing Janice in Nina's Heavenly Delights (2006), Shaz in the television film Wedding Belles (2007), and Pippa in the miniseries Dead Set (2008). McDermott won the BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actress for her performance in Morvern Callar.
