Biography
Kathreen Khavari, also credited as Kat Khavari, is an American actress, writer, producer and voice actress. She was born on 23 June 1983 in Oakland, California, to Iranian immigrant parents. After attending Skyline High School and the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied public health, she earned a master's degree from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
She first gained attention through viral comedy sketches and her web series Famous Farrah, which was later optioned by Warner Bros. Khavari is known for her recurring role as Patricia on the HBO series Insecure (2016–2018), Samantha on Big Little Lies (2017), and voicing Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel in Avengers Assemble (2016–2018) and other Marvel animated projects. Her other credits include voice work on Craig of the Creek (2018) and Transformers: EarthSpark (2022–2025), and appearances in Mascots (2016) and The Night (2021).
