Biography
Kathy Ann Stumpe is an American television writer and producer born in 1956. She began her career in the early 1990s as a writer and story consultant on the sitcom Cheers, contributing to 28 episodes between 1992 and 1993.
She served as co-executive producer on Everybody Loves Raymond from 1996 to 2001, working on 121 episodes, and received writing credits on 17 episodes between 1996 and 2002. Stumpe was nominated three times for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series as part of the producing team.
Stumpe has also held writing and producing roles on series including Phenom, Grace Under Fire, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, 8 Simple Rules, Good Morning, Miami and The Bill Engvall Show.
