Biography
Kathy Kiera Clarke is a Northern Irish actress. She is best known for playing Aunt Sarah in the Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls (2018–2022).
Clarke was born in Belfast and began her career in the early 1990s with roles in television, including Head over Heels (1993), and film, such as Bloody Sunday (2002), for which she received an IFTA nomination. She has an extensive stage career, with credits including productions at the Royal National Theatre, the Abbey Theatre and the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow.
Her other screen work includes Cherrybomb (2009), Bitter Harvest (2017), The Pale Horse (2020), Bloodlands (2021) and A Bend in the River (2020).
