Biography
Katia Khazak is a film producer based in France. Born in Moscow, she studied Cinema and Cultural Management at Sorbonne Nouvelle University Paris 3. She began her career in programming at the French Embassy in Kazakhstan before joining the Paris-based international sales agent Wide in 2011.
In 2014 she joined Aurora Films, where she produces alongside Charlotte Vincent. Her credits include Return to Seoul (2022), Dirty, Difficult, Dangerous (2022), City of Wind (2023) and The Beast in the Jungle (2023). She has also served as executive producer on If It Were Love (2020) and Petite Solange (2021).
She produces the work of directors including Davy Chou and Mongolian filmmaker Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir.
