Biography
Katie Jacobs is an American television producer and director. She began her career in film production in the early 1990s, working as associate producer on 29th Street (1991), co-producer on Consenting Adults (1992), and producer on Fatal Instinct (1993) and Getting Even with Dad (1994).
Jacobs co-founded the production company Heel & Toe Films with screenwriter Paul Attanasio. She served as executive producer on the Fox series House (2004–2012) and Century City (2004), and made her directorial debut on House, directing several episodes between 2007 and 2009. She has also directed episodes of Nurse Jeffrey (2010) and Damnation (2018). House received four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series during her tenure.
